She has an amazing design sense, was able to instantly understand what I wanted to accomplish, and effortlessly solved a few design problems that popped up when my specs changed unexpectedly mid-project. I thought that I would have to print several different versions of my packaging, one for each product color, but she was able to design in such a way that I can use just one version for all colors. I'm a freelance art director/graphic designer who has designed editorial materials for McDougal-Littell, Ligature, Silver Burdett Ginn, Macmillan Publishing, World Book Encyclopedia, Scott Foresman, McGraw-Hill, the Creative Black Book, Chicago Sourcebook, Holt, Reinhart, Winston, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business - among others. I've completed projects for studios, non-profits, advertising agencies and clients in Chicago, IL, Milwaukee WI, Los Angeles, CA, Costa Rica and Udaipur, India.
I am concerned with typography and experienced with print, corporate identity, healthcare and pharmaceutical, medical education, advertising design, retail ad design, educational publishing development, editorial and web design.
The design of my materials is consistently sophisticated, clean and on-target. A recent promotional campaign created for a local non-profit fundraiser in Chicago attracted a standing room only crowd and raised record funds.
